This document sets out the general terms governing the relationship between clients and Duska's Travels, a provider of cultural and landscape tours.
A) Duska's Travels Offer
Duska's Travels specializes in cultural and heritage tourism programs that showcase unique heritage sites. We offer several types of thematic programs, including Short Tours (from 1 to 2 days) and Long Tours (from 3 to 5 days). We also organize small events and workshops, always focused in promoting the Portuguese cultural richness and its unique heritage.

Our destinations feature a rich array of attractions, including gastronomy, history, heritage and landscapes. Additionally, we provide programs featuring top festivals, pilgrimages, and unique cultural experiences. Duska's Travels invites you to explore the cultural and culinary heritage offered by our diverse destinations.

All offerings by Duska's Travels are managed by Duska's Travels, Unipessoal Limitada, a licensed tour operator and member of relevant tourism associations.

B) Responsibilities
​​
Clients acknowledge that by registering for any program, they agree to these terms and conditions. Specific program terms will take precedence over these general terms when applicable.
​​
Duska's Travels provides insurance for each participant. In accordance with current legislation for tour operators, Duska's Travels offers civil liability insurance and casualty insurance for program participants.
​
Clients are responsible for their own conduct. Duska's Travels is not liable for accidents resulting from participants' reckless actions or failure to follow guide instructions. Clients must ensure they are in good health to participate in the programs.
​
Duska's Travels' liability, as outlined in this document and arising from our obligations, is covered by liability insurance as required by law.

C) Guarantee
​
i. Personal Accidents

Coverage of treatment expenses, including hospitalization and medication, up to an amount of €4,471.53.

Payment of €25,544.81 in case of death or permanent disability.

ii. Civil Liability

Coverage for third-party damages up to €50,000 per claim.
​
D) Terms and Conditions
​
i. Pricing
-
Every visitor contributes to heritage preservation, as part of the revenue supports development and conservation programs.

The price of each tour includes entrance fees.

When lodging is included, it is based on double occupancy; single occupancy incurs an additional fee.

Prices for all programs include VAT unless otherwise specified.
ii. Reservations
-
Booking within the minimum advance time specified for the program does not guarantee availability, which is subject to Duska's Travels' confirmation.

Reservations are only valid with full payment or a 30% deposit of the program amount.

iii. Booking and Payments

Client registration and that of their companions are valid only after full payment or a 30% deposit and completion of the online form on the Duska's Travels website. The Client must pay the remaining balance, including any additional services, at least 45 days before departure. For registrations made within 45 days of the start date, full payment is required at registration, pending confirmation of all reservations.

Duska's Travels reserves the right to cancel any registration not paid in accordance with these terms.

iv. Use of Client Information

Clients consent to the transmission of all trip-related information, including personal data, to government authorities for border control and security.

Clients consent to the sharing of trip-related information with local partners to execute the program, including dietary preferences and health information.

Duska's Travels will contact Clients as necessary to ensure proper service delivery.

v. Date Changes
-
Clients cannot change their registration to another tour or date without Duska's Travels' express consent. Any approved changes may incur fees and charges as outlined under "Quitings."

vi. Assignment of Registration

Clients may transfer their registration to another person meeting all tour conditions, provided they notify Duska's Travels at least 60 days in advance and the service providers accept the substitution. Otherwise, it is considered a cancellation.

Both the original and new registrants are jointly liable for the tour price and any additional charges.

vii. Changes
-
Duska's Travels may alter tour schedules or venues due to force majeure, substituting alternative sites.

If Duska's Travels cannot provide a key service, Clients can choose a refund or accept a program change. If a program is canceled, Clients can select another of equal value or receive a refund for any price difference if the replacement is cheaper.

Clients may request reservation changes up to 30 days before the service date without penalty. Changes are limited to activity start or end times. Reducing participant numbers or changing dates after this period will incur penalties as described in section d) iii).

No refunds are given for unused services once the program begins.
viii. Quitings

Clients canceling up to 45 days before the program start date will forfeit 30% of the tour amount paid. Cancellations within 45 days of the start date result in forfeiture of the total tour amount, including non-refundable additional service charges.

ix. Communications
-
All communications regarding reservations, changes, and cancellations between Duska's Travels and Clients will be via email, with as much notice as possible.

x. Complaints
-
Duska's Travels will address all legal and contractual obligations regarding Client complaints, which must be submitted in writing within 15 workdays after the program ends.
xi. Exceptions
-
These general terms may be amended by agreements, requirements, or contracts between Duska's Travels and the Client.
